When we met Shantamma, she was a widow with four young daughters and no home. Her husband had died, leaving the family without shelter or income. Our community raised funds to complete construction on their house.
All four daughters joined our summer camp and after-school programs. Today, we sponsor the two oldest daughters in their college education. This investment in their futures will create opportunities for generations to come.
In 2025, we helped Shantamma launch a produce business. Now she has stable income to support her family. She has a home. Her daughters attend school. She runs her own business.
This is the power of integrated support. When we address housing, education, and economic opportunity together, entire families can break the cycle of poverty and build sustainable futures.
