Anegundi Empowerment Project (AEP) has been providing support to residents in the village of Anegundi, India since 2013.
Our Story
Founded by Sheila Hyde in 2013, Anegundi Empowerment Project officially became an NGO recognized by the US government in 2025. In addition to Sheila’s annual visits to Anegundi, we have had volunteers from the UK, USA, Italy and Chile. We look forward to welcoming people from around the world who wish to support our mission and children.
Anegundi Empowerment Project’s After School Program provides after school homework help/educational support to 65+ local public school students at no cost to the families.
